“ I had the chilean sea bass and it was perfectly seared. My mother had mussels and my mother's friend had the salmon. Food was perfect. Where they sat us was not so perfect. They sat us at a table that blocks the double exit doors. Middle of winter and the door was leaking cold air on us. Especially when we were sitting on metal seats with no cushions. We will be back again since the food was excellent. Hopefully they won't seat us at that table again. ”
“ Went to the bar for a cocktail! My drink was delicious... but pricey! I think it was $18 which seems a little much in my opinion. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is nice, but I wish it had a little more character. I will come back to try a dinner and see how that goes. ”
“ This place absolutely ROCKS for happy hour, and their crab cakes are literally to die for. I can't recommend the espresso martinis or the bread pudding enough. Draper's has a beautiful ambiance, especially during the holidays. And the service at the bar (i've only ever sat at the bar) is fast and kind every time. This place deserves more business and I will never not recommend it! ”
“ Came here for Saturday brunch with family! We were seated right away. I love the decor and finishes throughout the restaurant. The staff was super pleasant and our server was very attentive. I ordered the huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs. AMAZING, prob one of the best I've ever had. Everything tasted super fresh and hot! I later ordered their salmon entree for dinner through door dash. The fish didn't taste very fresh... hoping I caught them on bad evening but the brunch is enough for me to return! ”
“ In town for a few days to see some sights, and gave Drapers a try. From start to finish we received excellent service from start to finish from Maurice! Attentive, helpful and professional. I had the NY strip and the wife had the filet, with the chimichurri sauce and they were excellent and well prepared, along other the perfectly cooked asparagus! Chef Omar checked in on us and treated us to some of the bread pudding which is my wife's favorite dessert. It was done perfectly, and the caramel sauce adds a special touch to it. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you stop in and give them a try, I know we will be back when in town for business or pleasure! ”
“ I came here for a happy hour and dinner after having a meeting nearby. Since I frequent Morton's steakhouse for their happy hours, I came to Draper's expecting a similar level of steakhouse HH experience. When their host took me to the bar to be seated, I wasn't too thrilled with the bartender asking "What can I do for you?": not exactly what I'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I was also surprised that he didn't know how to make a Manhattan properly either (not pictured). My main purpose for coming here was to fulfill my pork chop craving and they delivered: it was pretty delish! So was their New England clam chowder. Their happy hour bruschetta and cheeseburger slider, not so much. The bartender's overall service was pretty attentive and I appreciated that he offered me a complimentary dessert after confirming that it was my first time dining there. Overall, not sure that I would rush to return there any time soon when I have other options closer to me. ”
“ So first off, the service was beyond amazeballs! Elka was our server's name and she is top notch! Thank You Elka. 5 stars goes to Elka! The drinks were awesome and the food tasted so good. Hats off to the chef and barkeep! The bar area is so comfy and easy to get service. ”
“ From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was perfect. We arrived on time and they were ready to seat us when we walked in the door. They provided us with 2 menus, Restaurant Week and regular. This restaurant was selected because of its Restaurant week menu and before we got there, we knew what we were getting. However, when we got there and read the main menu, all of that went out the window. So many good choices, it was hard to choose. We chose different apps, the same entree and different deserts. The Roasted Herb Chicken was what we both settled on although I considered everything in the Entrees section except for the Vegetable Pasta because this man can't live on vegetables alone. I was not expecting so much food. The entree came out and I was like "Whoa". We should've picked different meals and shared especially since we just so happened to have eaten the opposite pieces of chicken. You get a half chicken. Not a whole half but you get the breast and wing and the leg (drumstick and thigh). She ate her dark meat and I ate my white meat and half the potatoes and fried brussel sprouts which were so, so good but I'm getting ahead of myself; let me go back. I ordered the mussels for an app and the white sauce was so good it made me rethink what I cook at home. My mussels are good but these were on a whole new level. I don't even want to make mussels anymore. The bread that they served with the mussels didn't really need to be dipped in the sauce because it was good on its own but with the sauce, it changed. When the sauce mixed with the flavor already on the bread it provided something different than what you experienced from the mussels. I also ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned. It was hickory smoked and it was good. I wanted to get another one but I didn't want to appear to be a lush. Another item that I often make at home but feel ashamed about what it is I was doing. Granted, I make it just for me but I have got to treat myself better than what I've been doing. I don't understand. I mean, they can't possibly put more love into it than I do for myself but that drink was hugged before it came out or something. I'm guessing they had a playlist running but that playlist was in line with the food and drink. Not only was the music good but the volume was just loud enough to hear it and hum or sing along (in your head) but not a distraction from the conversation you wanted to have. This was a 10 out 10 experience. The only bad thing about the night was that it was raining which they have no control over although I would almost swear the rain slowed down or stopped on my travel from and to my vehicle. ”
“ We came here tonight for a date night dinner with a 6:15pm reservation. I'm so glad we did because it was great!! We sat at the bar, which had the most comfy bar stools!!! We gave up our reservation seats to sit at the bar. For starters, we got the mussels that were cooked well in a delicious sauce! The sauce was balanced well without too much lemon or garlic flavor. Then my husband had the NY Strip while I ordered a Chilean Sea Bass, which was the fish for the night. Both were cooked really well and delicious. So my husband enjoyed his steak, and I can say my sea bass might have been a little bland, but the galic mashed potatoes really worked well together. The dessert was my favorite! We got a white chocolate bread pudding. Sooooo yummy, and you MUST try it! The ambiance is cool with a nice big bar, bright lights, and open high ceilings. Honestly, the staff were so nice! From the greeting from the hostess to the bartenders and everyone we encountered were welcoming. As busy as they were, we got quick refills as well. If you have the money, I would definitely recommend it!! The parking stinks, but that's the worst of it. It's a nice date restaurant. I would not bring my young kids. Check it out!! ”
